Bestioles 2025

The critters were among the first sketches Luc presented in Eze, back in 2014.
Initially in the form of abstract Shaddocks, then more animal-like, they have been perfected over time.
This 2025 collection features funny critters full of positive energy, often in groups or as a family tableau.
These beings sometimes appear perched on their long legs, scrutinizing the spectators around them.
Their names evoke a group of friends, a team, a family… that just keeps getting bigger!

Les Zygomatiques

This series brings together the Zygomatic family.
They are presented in groups or on their own, like a family portrait. Each one has its own family characteristics: one wide-open eye, a few hairs, 7 eyebrows and two legs.
These friendly little monsters keep a watchful eye on you.
In this family, every member has a first name that starts with a Z: Zéphir, Zoé, Zahir, Zabu, Zarbi, Zelda, and so on. A big family that’s still growing…

Infini

This series brings together canvases with the appearance of a school blackboard, filled with hieroglyphs that at first glance are indecipherable.
Closer inspection reveals real or invented mathematical equations, CAC 40 quotations, medical appointments…
A way for the artist to take revenge for his dyslexia. For once, he can express himself on the blackboard without risking the taunts of his teachers about his spelling.
A false language that’s full of truth…

Street Art

A series that takes up the codes of the Street movement: the brick wall, taken over by different artists with different styles and achievements.
Looking at the composition, we can see that the different elements of the canvas are not from the same hands.
The story behind this series is extraordinary: a Harry Potter fan, Luc’s daughter wanted to put an imitation brick wallpaper in her bedroom, in homage to the famous 9 ¾ lane.
Needless to say, the wallpaper soon ended up on canvas, giving the artist free rein to express himself, as if several people had taken it in turns to superimpose their creations on the canvas…

Collages

When I lived in the Paris region, I often received flyers for Parisian concerts, shows and cabarets.
This inspired me to create a collection of works in which I glue these pieces of paper together.
The names of the works evoke the Parisian scenes of the Pigalle district:
Moulin Rouge, Avant-Première, Entrée Libre, Scenario, etc.
