A self-taught artist in Eze Village

Luc is a self-taught French artist who lives and works between Eze Village on the French Riviera and Bretagne, France.

Originally from Versailles, Luc first exhibited his works on paper in small galleries in the Paris region. Steps by steps, he discovered painting on canvas moved to street art and abstract art. He developed a special technique for varnishing his works, making them very glossy, catching the attention of a wide range of international collectors. He then moved to Nice on the French Riviera and discovered the wonderful village of Eze, where he’s now exhibiting for over 15 years. Winner of 3 contemporary art prizes in the United States in 2021, his career took a decisive turn.

Gallery recognition

Luc then exhibited his work in galleries and took part in the Grand Salon d’Art Contemporain de Paris Bastille, which opened the doors to international markets : China, Canada and the United States. He joined Singulart in 2021, where he had a huge success, making him the 1st French artist from over 10,000+ international artists. Since 2021, he’s been year after year part of the top-10 most appreciated artists by the collectors on the gallery.

Current exhibitions

Luc Villard exhibits his artworks in his studio-gallery in Eze Village, in Paris (Galerie Frederic), in Porto Vecchio (Artzzura Galerie) and in Venezia (Manuela Zanverotti Galeria).

His most recent collaboration was with the very recent Galerie Frédéric in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, launched by Frédéric Nizard, a pop/street art pontiff who acquired a dozen of his works.
